Booksy · compared
Booksy’s pricing page is headed “no hidden fees”, and on the subscription that is fair enough — £40 a month, plus £5 for each extra person, and the prices are quoted before VAT.
The number that moves is Boost. Here is the whole picture, from Booksy’s own pricing page, checked on the date shown.

The bit worth reading twice
Boost takes 30% of a Boost client’s first visit, with a £5 minimum. Only Treatwell’s 35% is steeper among the platforms on our comparison page, and it is worth knowing the number before you switch Boost on for a quiet January.
Credit where it is due: Booksy’s own pricing page says Boost is off by default, and that with it off, marketplace bookings carry no commission at all. Leave it alone and Booksy is a straightforward subscription.
The catch is what it costs when you do want the work. Six Boost clients at £45 is £81 in a month, on top of the £40 subscription. That is £121 before a single card fee — worth it if those six would never have found you otherwise, and worth knowing either way.

Moshee

No commission. No card fees — the money goes bank to bank, so it never becomes a card transaction. No text costs, because texts send from your own phone.
Being fair about it
It is a real marketplace with real reach, and 500 marketing texts a month are included before you pay 5p each. If you are filling gaps from the app’s own audience, you are getting something for the money.
The question is only whether you are paying marketplace prices for clients who already know your name. Moshee is the other answer: a flat £16, no commission whoever books, and your own link doing the work instead.
If you decide to move
Export your clients from Booksy, drop the file into Moshee, and your book is across. In our experience that is about ten minutes, and we will do it for you if the export beats you.
Free for 7 days, no card needed. Then £16 a month, and you can leave whenever you like.
