Take a deposit

Protect yourself from no-shows — the client pays a bit upfront to lock in their slot, straight into your bank.

A deposit protects you from no-shows — the client pays a little upfront to lock in their slot. Here's how.

When you're booking the appointment

  1. Book the appointment as normal.
  2. Set a deposit amount on it (for example £10, or 20%).
  3. Moshee adds the deposit to the booking link your client gets.

What the client sees

They open the link, see the deposit, and pay it straight into your bank with Moshee Pay. No card fees — the money's yours.

Marking it paid

When the deposit lands in your bank, open the appointment and tap Mark deposit paid (the button shows the exact amount). You stay in control — Moshee never holds the money.

"Do I have to use deposits?"

Not at all. They're there when you want them — handy for new clients, big colour jobs, or busy days. Skip them whenever you like.
