How to switch from Square Appointments to Moshee
Moving off Square? Export your customers, drop the file into Moshee, and keep every client — flat £10 a month, and no card fees with Moshee Pay.
Square's a tidy till, but you're paying a card fee on every single payment. Here's how to move your clients to Moshee — flat £10 a month, and clients pay straight into your bank.
What you'll need
Your customer list from Square. That's it.
Step 1 — Create your Moshee account
Go to app.moshee.net and sign up with your email — it only takes a minute, and there's no password to remember.
Step 2 — Get your customers out of Square
On a computer, sign in to your Square Dashboard. Go to Customers → Customer directory, then Import/Export → Export customers. Pick your customer group(s) and tap Download. You'll get a CSV with names, numbers, emails and notes.
Square keeps saved card details separate (you can't export those) — but you don't need them. The names, numbers and emails come across fine.
Step 3 — Bring them into Moshee
- Tap Clients.
- Tap the + at the top.
- Choose Import CSV and drop your file in.
- Check the preview looks right.
- Tick the box to confirm you've got permission to store their details, then tap Import.
Your whole client book is now in Moshee. 🎉
Step 4 — Set yourself up
- Tap the ⚙ gear, then Hours, and set when you're open.
- Add your services (or tweak the ones we start you with).
- Grab your booking-page link from Settings → Shop and share it.
Why switch?
Square is free to use but takes a card fee on every payment, and it's a till first, a booking system second. Moshee is a flat £10 a month, built for your diary — and clients pay bank-to-bank with Moshee Pay, with no card fees at all. No per-booking cut, no surprises.
Want us to do it for you?
If you'd rather not faff with spreadsheets, we'll happily move your clients across for you — just get in touch. We've got you.
