Moshee

Fresha · what it costs

How much does Fresha cost?

Fresha is free to sign up for. The software is then £14.95 a month for a solo stylist, or £9.95 per team member. On top of that it takes 20% of a new client’s first booking through the marketplace, with a £4 minimum, plus 1.19% and 20p on card payments and 6p a text after the first twenty.

So it is free to start, and the cost arrives with the work. Below is every charge in one place, and what they came to on a month that probably looks like yours.

Is Fresha free?

Free to sign up for and free to list on, yes. Free to run a salon on, no — and the difference is where most of the confusion lives.

Nothing leaves your account until you take a booking. That is genuinely generous compared with a platform charging £40 a month before you have earned anything, and it is why so many people start there.

What it means in practice is that your bill scales with how busy you are, and the busiest months cost the most. A quiet January is cheap. A full diary in December is not.

Moshee is £16.00 a month, flat, and that is the whole bill.

No commission on any client, new or returning. Free for 7 days, no card.

What you actually pay, and when

The subscription is the only fixed part. Everything else is triggered by something happening: a new client arriving through the marketplace, a card being tapped, a text going out past the free twenty.

That is worth knowing before you compare it with a flat monthly price, because the two numbers are not the same shape. One is a bill you can predict in advance and budget around; the other is a percentage of a month you have not had yet.

Every Fresha charge, in one place.
